Immense congratulations go to six of our outstanding residents of North Grenville who were chosen by Member of Parliament Michael Barrett, representing Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes. They were awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal for their selfless achievements and positive contributions to our community.
Sgt. Craig Kelso, for his valuable contribution to the Grenville OPP and dedicated efforts with community outreach and involvement.Cora Beking of Oxford Station, for her valuable contribution to North Grenville, as a community volunteer, fundraiser and strong supporter of local events and causes.
Fr. Raymond de Souza of Kemptville, for his remarkable work as a parish priest, university professor, newspaper columnist and strong defender of religious liberty at home and abroad.
Kathryn Ferguson of Bishops Mills, for her many years volunteering behind the scenes in North Grenville, as well as her strong encouragement that inspires others to get involved.
Benjamin Last of Kemptville, for his leadership and service as Lead Pastor of Southgate Church, along with his tremendous work to care for and shepherd families of North Grenville and beyond.
Lt(N) Jay Tousaw of Kemptville, for his valuable contribution to the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets and the
Royal Canadian Legion, as well as his life-long service as a community volunteer.
