January 28, 2025
(TORONTO – January 27, 2025) – In the face of rising international protectionism and the looming threat of U.S. tariffs, the Ontario Chamber of Commerce has launched the Ontario Business & Trade Leadership Coalition (OBTLC).
This Coalition unites leaders from key trade-dependent sectors to champion business-driven solutions, advocate for effective government policies, and solidify Ontario’s position as a global leader in trade.
“President Trump has claimed the U.S. doesn’t need Canada – but we are here to show just how invaluable we are. Ontario businesses are stepping up to safeguard our economy and reinforce our global competitiveness. The Ontario Business & Trade Leadership Coalition represents a united response – a coalition of industry leaders committed to resilience, collaboration, and growth,” said Daniel Tisch, President and CEO of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce.
