Feds pledge to push provinces for paid sick leave following NDP prompt

The federal government committed Monday to advancing talks with the provinces and territories on ensuring that every worker in Canada who needs it can access 10 days of paid sick leave a year, a measure viewed as important to the “recovery phase” of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ontario allows dozens of health-care providers, including dentists, to reopen

Ontario is allowing over two dozen health-care providers, including dentists and massage therapists, to return to work immediately once health and safety guidelines are in place.
Dentists, optometrists, massage therapists, chiropractors, physiotherapists, psychologists, dieticians, denturists, and midwives are some of the professions included on the list released today.
