North Grenville Community Theatre is hosting the Eastern Ontario Drama League "One Act Festival". This festival entails eight theatre groups, each performing a different play that is no longer than 60 minutes. Domino Theatre in Kingston are performing two one act plays. It is adjudicated by a professional adjudicator. At the end of each three sessions of three plays, the adjudicator gives a public adjudication and then to the three groups who just performed, a detailed adjudication. All events and adjudications are open to the public as well the Award Brunch on Sunday Nov. 5th. A scrumptious brunch will be served at 11:00am followed by the adjudicator awarding 14 trophies to well deserved individuals/groups. For those who enjoy live theatre, this is a weekend you won't forget.

North Grenville Community Theatre (NGCT) is delighted to host the 2023 Eastern Ontario Drama League (EODL) One Act Festival on November 3rd to November 5th in the North Grenville Municipal Centre. We are here to give you a warm welcome with small town friendliness.
Our festival theme, ‘From Strong Roots to New Beginnings” refers to EODL. Taking a tree in comparison, a healthy tree with strong roots will regrow when damaged. EODL has been hurt by the pandemic but with strong ties to the theatre groups, it has survived and will come out stronger and better.
For the past six months, our committee has been meeting on a regular basis to organize an entertaining and enjoyable time while in Kemptville in the Municipality of North Grenville. We are here to make this One Act Festival a memorable one. The lineup of plays and community theatre groups are:
