RTO 9 – Tourism Relief Fund Launched in South Eastern Ontario. "On April 6, Region 9 Regional Tourism Organization (RTO9) received a non-repayable contribution of $3 million from the Government of Canada through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), to deliver the Tourism Relief Fund to tourism businesses in South Eastern Ontario."

North Grenville, ON – The North Grenville Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Municipality of North Grenville is hosting the second annual Mayor’s Address event on March 31, 2022.This in-person event will be held in Suite A at the North Grenville Municipal Centre (285 CR44, Kemptville) on Thursday, March 31 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
The North Grenville Chamber of Commerce is spearheading a new and expanded shop local campaign – in partnership with the Old Town Kemptville Business Improvement Area and the Municipality of North Grenville.
The new phase will build on the foundation laid by the initial ‘Love NG’ campaign launched during the early days of COVID. It includes several initiatives designed to help raise awareness about the importance of shopping local and increase spending at local businesses. A new ad campaign will include:
• Print and digital media,
• a social media campaign
The Ontario government is introducing new supports for many of the businesses that are most impacted by public health measures in response to the Omicron variant. These supports include a new Ontario Business Costs Rebate Program and a six-month interest- and penalty-free period to make payments for most provincially administered taxes.
